Inokashira Park Zoo is home to Japan's oldest elephant, Hanako, and is the zoo's most popular attraction.Petition to move Japan's oldest elephant to sanctuary reaches 370,000 signatures.  

A new online petition is gathering momentum with animal lovers calling for Hanako to be returned to Thailand to see out her years in a sanctuary where she will live with other elephants and wander in natural habitat and wallow in a wading pool.
